Complex Fabricators is seeking an experienced Brake Press Setup Operator to join our precision metal fabrication team in Utah. The ideal candidate will set up and run CNC press brakes, read complex drawings, select tooling, and inspect parts to meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years operating and setting up CNC press brakes.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal forming processes.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Experience selecting and setting up press brake tooling.
• Ability to inspect parts using precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes to produce precision formed components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T.
• Select and install appropriate tooling for each job.
• Determine bend sequences and verify setup accuracy.
• Perform first-piece inspections and make adjustments as necessary.
• Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain close tolerances and consistent quality standards.
• Troubleshoot forming issues and make process adjustments.
• Work with engineering, quality, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and AS9100 quality requirements.
