Job summary

Champion Personnel is seeking a qualified Press Brake Operator for a 2nd shift in Ohio. The role offers a 4-day workweek after training, with a $24.00 per hour wage and a direct-hire path into the company.

Training begins on the 1st shift before transitioning to the regular 2nd shift. You will set up and operate CNC press brake equipment, read blueprints, select tooling, verify tolerances, and document production activity.

Qualifications

• Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Stable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment.
• Bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Select and install the appropriate tooling for each job.
• Make machine adjustments to achieve proper bends, angles, and dimensions.
• Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machine or production issues.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
