Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of experience operating a variety of machinery.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret measurement tools (tape measure, micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, BOMs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines according to the work assignment description; follow production and quality procedures.
• Perform minor adjustments and daily maintenance on equipment.
• Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams and provide training to others when needed.
• Inspect measurements and products to ensure quality and accuracy; transport and document completed work.
• Conduct machine and production changeovers as required; maintain a clean 5S workstation.
