Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator in Columbus, OH for an onsite 1st shift direct-hire role. The position involves setting up and running 85–175 ton CNC press brakes, reading blueprints, and maintaining tight tolerances. Cross-training across shop areas and potential overtime are available.

The role supports fabrication and finishing work, with a schedule either 7:00–3:30 or 10:00–8:30, and advancement through a cross-trained, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience setting up and operating 85–175 ton CNC press brakes, including independent setups and offset adjustments.
• Experience reading blueprints and shop drawings.
• Proven ability to measure parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Experience using hand, power and air tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC press brakes in the 85–175 ton range.
• Interpret complex blueprints and shop drawings to form parts correctly.
• Bent parts to tight tolerances of roughly ±0.005 inches and 1/2 degree.
• Check part dimensions using calipers and micrometers.
• Complete machine setups and offset adjustments on your own.
• Help with fabrication, assembly, hardware insertion, grinding, deburring and finishing.
• Cross-train across multiple areas of the shop.
