Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Machine Operator I to support TAL by operating CNC machinery and other related equipment to fabricate parts per engineering drawings. The role includes reading sketches and producing parts from sheet metal, steel/plate, and bar stock, with an emphasis on quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Responsibilities include deburring, inspections, and maintaining a tidy workspace, while adhering to safety protocols and daily punctuality.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop finished product from these plans.
• Relevant machining/fabrication shop experience.
• Positive attitude, able to handle tense situations that arise.
• Team player, able to take direction.
• Ability to read a tape measure and other calibrated measuring devices.
• Ability to use/handle power and pneumatic tools.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
• Employees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery to produce high quality fabricated parts from engineering drawings; manual machinery may also be used as an operator.
• Read sketches/drawings to produce parts from sheet metal, steel/plate and bar stock.
• Clean, deburr, and perform first article inspections for completed parts.
• Keep workspace in a neat and organized order.
• Show mutual respect for coworkers.
• Show up to work every day on time.
• Overtime required when necessary.
• Follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis).
