Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. seeks a Prep Shop Trainer to develop, deliver, and evaluate CNC/machine operation training for new and incumbent Prep Shop staff. The role includes creating outlines, lesson plans, and competency assessments while emphasizing safety and quality.

You will collaborate with Training, Production, Quality, Safety, and leadership to identify skill gaps, support employee development, and maintain training documentation for workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in manufacturing technology preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing/CNC experience preferred.
• Experience in training, mentoring, or leading employees preferred.
• Certifications or ability to obtain trainer certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver classroom and hands-on training for Prep Shop operations.
• Provide instruction on CNC and machine operation, safety, and quality.
• Create training outlines, lesson plans, and competency assessments.
• Coordinate training schedules with production requirements.
• Maintain training documentation and evaluate employee progress.
• Promote workforce readiness and cross-training.
