Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a proactive maintenance technician for a tier one automotive supplier's machining facility. The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility equipment, with emphasis on CNC monitoring, PLCs, and preventative maintenance.

You will collaborate with production leaders and vendors, contributing to 5S and new equipment installations. Required: high school education and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read wire schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Experience with CNC monitoring, PLC logic, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders to service machinery.
• Monitor CNC systems, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and PLC ladder logic.
• Replace or repair worn parts, test performance, and adjust systems.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Support 5S initiatives and assist with new equipment installations.
• Verify asset numbers and participate in Kaizen or Quality Circle activities.
