Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for a leading metal fabrication client in North Charleston, SC. You will program, set up and operate CNC plate plasma machines to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with precision measurement tools, deburring, and collaborating with Quality, Environmental, and H&S teams to uphold safety and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in programming and setup of CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D prints, 3D models, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds/feeds, and CAT40 tooling setup.
• Proficiency in using basic measurement instruments to verify components meet specifications.
• Strong verbal communication skills and excellent time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC Plate Plasma Machines to ensure efficient production output.
• Inspect production parts using measurement instruments to verify quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
• Deburr output materials from the plate plasma machine to prepare for subsequent processes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Environmental, and H&S teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
