Triple-S Steel is seeking a Production Equipment Operator to read and execute work orders, operate equipment, and ensure timely meeting of customer requirements. The role involves safe operation of CNC machinery, forklifts, and various hand tools, with physical demands and weather exposure typical of a steel processing environment.

Candidates should be able to read instructions, perform basic math, and work both independently and in teams to maintain productivity.

Qualificações

• Ability to read and understand work orders or receive oral instructions.
• Basic computer skills to operate simple software.
• Intermediate math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to meet or exceed productivity levels set by the company.
• Ability to plan and organize work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of material and inventory control techniques.
• Maintain good inter-department communications for routing, safety and customer relations.

Responsabilidades

• Follow Triple-S safe methods of work at all times and report unsafe conditions.
• Manipulate, cut and form raw material per work orders to meet customer requirements.
• Operate and maintain tools/materials such as CNC burning table, forklift, saws, and protective equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed and move within the facility.
• Move around a busy work area with multiple moving parts and equipment.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Attend required company meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
