Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Warwick, RI is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join a wood-shop team producing custom gaming tables and wood products. You will operate a Laguna SmartShop CNC and assist with assembly.

Requirements: 3+ years CNC/woodworking experience, G-code proficiency, basic carpentry, and ability to read CAD drawings. Pay: $25-35/hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC operator experience in woodworking.
• G-code proficiency and CAD reading ability.
• Basic carpentry knowledge and 2D CAD design experience.
• Attention to detail and quality, able to work independently or in a team.
• Hands-on manufacturing environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery in a wood-shop environment.
• Create and work with 2D designs using CAD software.
• Read and follow CAD/CAM designs and production specifications.
• Use and understand general G-code.
• Assist with the assembly of finished products.
• Follow standard work procedures while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Inspect work to ensure products meet specifications.
• Communicate effectively with team members to maintain efficient production.
• Minimize material waste and production downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and efficiency.
