Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Weekend Nights CNC Operator for a precision machining company serving the Oil & Gas sector in the Pearland area, near Houston. The role requires experience with CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities include operating the CNC machine, overseeing daily lathe functions, performing precision measurements with calipers and micrometers, inspecting parts for quality, and handling materials safely. Strong independence and ability to stand for long periods are needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines; pay rate varies by experience.
• Familiarity with precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Experience with CNC lathes using Fanuc or Okuma controls.
• Twin spindle or twin turret experience is a plus.

Openwork is engaged in a search for a Weekend Nights CNC Operator for precision machining company specializing in the Oil & Gas industry in the Pearland area.

Must have experience with CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC machine
• Oversee the daily functions of the CNC Lathe
• Precision measurement of product using Calipers and Micrometers
• Inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance
• Handle materials appropriately and safely

What you'll need:

• Familiarity with precision measurement equipment (e.g.- Calipers, Micrometers)
• Experience operating CNC Machines – Experience level will determine pay rate
• Experience with CNC Lathes with Okuma or Fanuc control
• Experience with Twin Spindle or Twin Turrets is a PLUS!
• Ability to work independently
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs repeatedly
