Job summary

Advance CNC Machining in Grove City, Ohio is seeking a reliable CNC Operator for 2nd shift and weekend coverage to operate high-precision Makino CNC machines, including 4-5 axis, Swiss & Mill Turn, with automation. You will read blueprints, set tools, make offsets, inspect parts with CMMs and calipers, and document production data.

The role rewards dependability with up to $25/hour DOE and a $2,500 sign-on bonus; health benefits and PTO are offered.

• Complete production and inspection documentation.

CNC Operator Swiss & Mill Turn – Off Shift

Advance CNC Machining – Grove City, Ohio

2nd Shift: Mon–Thurs | 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

Weekend Shift: Fri-Sun | 7am-7pm

Up to $25/hour DOE

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus — $1,250 at 90 Days + $1,250 at 6 Months

What You'll Do

As a CNC Operator, you'll be responsible for operating CNC machines and making sure the parts you produce meet our quality standards.

• Operate Makino 4- and5- axis CNC machining centers and Swiss & Mill Turn, many with automation
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, tolerances, and CMM reports
• Load materials, change tools, and make offsets
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other precision measuring equipment
• Complete production and inspection documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $25/hour, depending on experience
• 401(k) with a 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year
• 80 hours of PTO in your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours

• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T

• CNC machining, machine operation, mechanical, maintenance, or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Experience with 4-5 axis Makino machines and Swiss & Mill Turn machines is highly preferred
