Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a CNC Operator for the Electric Heat manufacturing team in Missouri. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC brake press equipment to produce sheet metal components to tight tolerances.

You will load materials, monitor machine performance, and ensure quality documentation is kept up to date. Collaboration with supervisors, programmers and quality personnel is essential to sustain productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC brake press equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, job travelers, and technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete production and quality documentation.
• Ability to perform basic machine adjustments and quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and related equipment per work instructions and blueprints.
• Load raw materials and unload finished components safely.
• Monitor machine performance to maintain quality and productivity.
• Perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and setup modifications as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Maintain production records and communicate status during shifts.
