Job summary

Steel Tech Enterprises is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Williamsport, IN to operate CNC equipment, change tooling, and conduct quality checks against blueprints. You will follow shop instructions, document activities, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and be trained on machine operator tasks.
• General skills with hand and air tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read different measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC Machine.
• Change tooling within machine.
• Perform quality checks using approved tools to determine accuracy to blueprint.
• Inform supervisor of equipment-related problems that may affect quality.
• Clocking on jobs and parts accurately.
• Follow instructions from Shop Traveler, equipment manuals, and blueprints.
• Maintain all required documentation.
• Exhibit safe working habits and wear PPE.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
