Job summary

Qualifications

• Create NC programs for tooling and parts using CAMWorks and SolidWorks-compatible data.
• Operate CNC milling machines with a focus on high-precision tolerances.
• Set up tooling, select feeds and speeds, and verify part dimensions against prints.
• Maintain tooling and fixtures and perform routine machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setup and operation of CNC milling machines.
• Manufacture mold tooling and fixtures for product development.
• Manufacture new mold tooling and fixtures for production.
• Maintain and repair current production mold tooling and fixtures.
• Operate manual vertical mills, lathes and other hand tools as needed.
• Track programming and machine run time for tooling projects.
• Communicate tooling requirements, dimensions, and accuracy with supervisor.
• Perform routine daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on CNC equipment.
