Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to operate and maintain CNC Vertical Mills, CNC Horizontal Mills and CNC Lathes in Latrobe, PA. The ideal candidate will ensure precision machining of components according to engineering specifications while maintaining quality, safety and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or CNC certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience operating CNC Vertical Mills, Horizontal Mills and/or Lathes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and Maintain CNC Vertical Mills, Horizontal Mills and Lathes, including tooling and work holding devices.
• Load raw materials, calibrate machines and verify proper alignment before production.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Conduct routine maintenance and keep machines clean and operational.
• Maintain accurate production records and report deviations from specifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Latrobe, PA

1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm, Monday-Friday
$20/hour (+ shift differential)
