Job summary

Nesco Resource in Michigan is seeking an experienced 1st Shift CNC Machinist – Lathe/Haas Programmer/Operator to set up, program, and operate Haas machines, crafting weldments and prototype parts with precision using Mastercam for programming.

Candidates should have 5+ years Haas experience, be able to read blueprints, use inspection tools, and lift 30 lbs. This role offers a 10-hour or 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday with optional Saturday morning as needed, and a competitive starting pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience on Haas equipment.
• Must be able to create and maintain CNC programs via a Haas Controller.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Ability to use and understand standard measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program Haas CNC machines for weldments and prototypes.
• Create CNC programs via Haas Controller and maintain them.
• Set up and re-set up jobs as needed.
• Read blueprints and use measurement tools to verify parts.

Job description

Position: 1st Shift CNC Machinist – Lathe/Haas Programmer/Operator

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with proven expertise in operating and programming Haas. This role involves machining weldments and prototype parts with precision and efficiency, using Mastercam for programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Min of 5 years' experience on Haas Equipment
• MUST be able to CREATE and maintain CNC programs via a Haas Controller
• Experience needs to be recent, as well as dedicated, meaning candidates' main responsibility
• MUST be able to lift 30lbs without assistance
• MUST be comfortable working in a every changing environment
• MUST have ability to set up as well as re-set up jobs
• MUST have ability to read blueprints
• MUST have ability to use and understand standard measurement equipment

Shift & Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 6:00 am–4:30 pm (10-hour shift) or 6:00 am–2:30 pm (8-hour shift)
• Saturday: 6:00 am–12:00 pm as needed

Compensation:

• Staring at $25.00 per hour
