Job summary
Amsted Automotive's TransForm Automotive Shelby Twp division is seeking CNC Operators on all three shifts to support the plant's production operations. You will set machine controls, install fixtures, and perform first-piece checks.
Ideal candidates have CNC troubleshooting skills, familiarity with IATF16949 and ISO 14001, and 2 years in automotive manufacturing. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, paid vacation, and shift premiums on afternoons and midnights.
Qualifications
- Must have practical CNC machining experience in an automotive environment.
- Experience with setup, tooling, and fixture installation.
- Familiarity with ISO/QMS standards and quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machining centers and set machine controls per program.
- Install fixtures, repair tooling, and perform routine upkeep.
- Conduct first-piece checks and adjust tooling for quality.
- Complete daily production paperwork (PPLH, TAKT, scrap reports).
- Report defects to Team Leader or Supervision.
