Job summary

Amsted Automotive is seeking a full-time CNC operator for on-site work in Wisconsin. The role involves operating various CNC machines, maintaining a safe workspace, and performing quality checks with precise measurement tools while following documented processes.

Qualifications

• Experience performing quality checks with measurement tools (gages, calipers, micrometers).
• 1+ years CNC machining experience or CNC education or equivalent.
• Be physically capable of tasks requiring hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Load and unload various CNC machines.
• Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, drop indicators and other gauges.
• Follow process documents.
• Escalate quality concerns as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good condition.
• Perform tool changes and machine adjustments as needed.
