Job summary

Eaton is seeking a CNC Operator III for the 2nd shift at our Cleveland, TN facility. You will fabricate parts using punch and turret presses, follow drawings, and perform quality checks with precision measuring tools while maintaining 5S clean areas.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, experience with CNC presses, and proficiency with Mapics and Matrix systems or similar software. Overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
Fabrication experience operating presses (ex-punch presses, turret presses, CNC presses).
Experience with precision-measuring equipment (calipers, tape measures).
Experience working with hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, drills).
Ability to interpret drawings and/or blueprints; troubleshoot operations equipment.

Responsibilities

Comply with safety policies and wear PPE.
Fabricate parts according to drawings, routings, and work instructions using presses.
Use manufacturing information to determine parts and fixtures and obtain materials from stock.
Perform quality checks using measuring instruments and templates.
Operate auxiliary equipment (e.g., automatic feeds, scrap cutters, conveyors, limit switches).
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas per 5S.
Cross-train in various areas and train new hires on presses.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
