Job summary

Diamondback-CN is seeking a CNC Operator I for the Weekend Shift to operate CNC machines, read complex blueprints, and follow tooling instructions. You will perform basic machine offsets and adjustments under training, ensuring parts meet specifications and tolerances.

This entry role emphasizes learning and accuracy in a manufacturing environment. Work Friday to Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to Operate CNC Machines with little assistance
• Learn how to work with complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts
• Learn how to make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for material tooling, machine, or program conditions
• Learn to make tool offsets with no assistance
• Learn to inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Operate CNC machines without supervision after receiving the proper training
• Other duties as assigned

JOB TITLE: CNC Operator I Weekend Shift

The CNC Operator I is responsible for continually learning how to operate machinery in CNC.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of experience using hand and power tools
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Reliable and dependable
• Willingness to learn to run CNC Horizontal and/or Vertical machines, and basic CNC machining

CORE DUTIES

• Learn to Operate CNC Machines with little assistance
• Learn how to work with complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts
• Learn how to make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for material tooling, machine, or program conditions
• Learn to make tool offsets with no assistance
• Learn to inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Operate CNC machines without supervision after receiving the proper training
• Other duties as assigned

HOURS

• Weekend shift
• Friday - Sunday, 5:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
