You will read job specs, set up machines, measure parts, and perform routine maintenance. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, precision measurement skills, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Read and use a tape measure to precise measurements.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Maintain attendance within company guidelines.
• Retain and apply instructions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Detail oriented.
• Read and understand trucks specifications document.
• Communicate and understand in English.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC and shop machinery to cut, shape, and bend metal pieces.
• Read job specs to determine adjustments and material needs.
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths.
• Position work piece against stops or layout marks.
• Activate machines and monitor operation for defects or malfunctions.
• Measure pieces to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Remove burrs and clean work pieces.
• Perform routine maintenance on fabrication and machine shop equipment.
• Set up and maintain machines and perform burning work as required.
• Collaborate with supervisor on related duties.
