The Aluminum Welder role at Aebi Schmidt Group in Waterville, ME involves welding (MIG/TIG) on aluminum as part of a production team. You will read blueprints, follow detailed instructions, fabricate components from raw stock, and ensure quality while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, pass AWS-related tests, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and reliability. AWS certification is preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• AWS Certification preferred.
• Excellent attendance and reliable.
• Ability to pass welding certification tests (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6, D9.1).
• Must understand AWS welding symbols.

Responsabilités

• Welds using MIG or TIG on steel, stainless, and aluminum.
• Read and follow operator instructions, drawings and blueprints.
• Fabricate components from raw stock and maintain welding equipment.
• Meet production goals and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Lead lean events and support 5S in the work area.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
