Job summary

Curbell, Inc. is seeking a reliable CNC Machinist to set up and operate a range of production equipment, read blueprints, and inspect parts to spec. You will maintain machines, perform basic repairs, and support SAP-based shipping and receiving in some locations.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• 1 year CNC setup and operation in a machine shop environment.
• Preferred technical training or higher.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates production machinery such as CNC saws, lathes, milling machines, drills, shapers, boring mills and grinders to fabricate and repair parts and products.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and parts lists and inspects parts to prints and specs.
• Maintains equipment and performs preventative maintenance while reporting issues.
• Performs warehouse duties including SAP-based receiving/shipping and paperwork.
• Resolves production issues and contributes to safety and continuous improvement.
• Follows safety policies and performs other duties as assigned.
