Job summary

Protolabs in Nashua, NH is seeking a CNC Operator I to set up, operate, and monitor HAAS CNC machinery for prototype and low-volume production parts. The role requires attention to detail, blueprint reading, and adherence to quality standards.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 11pm–7am, offering a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, PTO, and stock purchase programs. Prior CNC experience is preferred, and ITAR restrictions apply for US citizens and eligible residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure tolerances.
• Previous experience in a CNC manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate HAAS CNC machine.
• Load and unload parts.
• Change offsets in the machine as needed.
• Load programs to the machine.
• Perform tool changes and set tools.
• Support and report issues to team lead/supervisor.
• Follow all processes and escalate problems to shift lead/supervisor.
• Ensure timely production to meet on-time delivery.
• Provide quick turnaround with accuracy within guidelines.
• Complete operator PMs during shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
