Job summary

UFP Industries in Windsor, Colorado seeks a CNC Machine Operator to perform machine tool operations with FANUC controls. You will set up fixtures, touch off tools, and run programs to produce lumber and nonferrous parts per specifications.

The role requires basic math, reading of codes, and adherence to safety and quality standards. On-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits; prior CNC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year CNC machine tool experience with FANUC controls preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret machine codes and coordinates.
• Working knowledge of basic math and measuring tools.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures, jigs, spoil boards and tooling for CNC operations.
• Touch off tools and register CNC programs to meet specs safely.
• Change tools and gather tooling for safe operation and asset protection.
• Verify lumber and nonferrous parts meet job specifications.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and production records.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
