Job summary

Amsted Automotive is seeking a full-time CNC operator to efficiently run various CNC machines in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, dirt, grease, oils, fluids and noise. Multiple openings on different shifts.

You will maintain a safe workspace, load/unload machines, and perform quality checks using gauges, following process documents and performing routine maintenance. Preferred candidates have experience with measurement tools and can lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Strong manual dexterity and visual precision.
• Demonstrated mental alertness in a fast-paced shop.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Load and unload CNC machines.
• Perform quality checks using gauges (calipers, micrometers).
• Follow process documents and procedures.
• Escalate quality concerns as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tool changes.
