Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a CNC Operator and Welder in Easley, SC to set up and operate machine tools, including horizontal CNC centers, CNC lathes, manual lathes, milling machines, and a radial drill press. Welding certifications or education are required to join our production team.

You will perform high-precision work, build tooling and fixtures, and ensure quality per ISO 9001 while maintaining on-time delivery and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Machining experience is preferred.
• Ability to weld TIG or STICK stainless materials.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is required.
• Set up and operate manual machines such as mills, lathes, and the radial drill.
• Ability to build tooling and fixtures for machine tools.
• Perform quality checks per work instruction.
• Maintain production flow to meet on-time delivery.
• Perform corrective action and move from welding to machining or balancing as necessary.
• Follows quality procedures according to ISO 9001.
• Safety obligations: all employees understand and follow SBP structure and safety rules and intervene if a safety concern arises.

Machine tools include horizontal cnc machining centers, cnc lathes, manual lathes, milling machines, and a radial drill press. Welding certifications or education is required.
