Job summary

CMMG in Boonville, MO is seeking a CNC Operator to support our machining operations. You will work Saturday through Monday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with an hourly shift differential and overtime opportunities on a full-time, onsite schedule.

Responsibilities include loading and tending CNC machines for turning, threading, drilling and boring; inspecting parts with calipers, micrometers and other gauges; adjusting offsets; maintaining tool readiness; keeping a clean, safe work area while meeting

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1+ years of experience in manufacturing or machining.
Basic understanding of CNC machining and production workflow.
Experience with mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines.
Familiarity with G-code fundamentals and setup concepts.
Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Load and tend CNC machines for turning, threading, drilling, reaming.
Start and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
Make necessary cutting tool offsets and machine adjustments to maintain part quality.
Identify and replace broken or worn tools.
Grind, file, sand, and deburr parts to remove defects and smooth surfaces.
Meet or exceed production goals daily, weekly and monthly.
