Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a CNC Operator for the 3rd shift at our Savanna, IL facility. You will operate CNC equipment, inspect parts for quality, troubleshoot basic issues, and support safe, efficient production.

On-site role offering a 3rd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM) with pay in the $16.00–$19.00/hour range plus a $2.00/hour shift premium and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Demonstrated steady work history with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce components per specifications.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality per requirements.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and adjust as needed.
• Read blueprints and use basic measuring tools.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S standards.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies.

Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator - 3rd Shift at our Savanna, IL manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment, verify product quality, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and support safe, efficient production.

• Location: Savanna, IL

• Work Arrangement: On-site

• Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-7:00 AM

• Pay: $16.00-$19.00/hour, depending on experience

• Other Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premium

• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

• Overtime: Overtime may be required based on business needs.

What You'll Do as a CNC Operator

• Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.

• Inspect completed parts and verify they meet established quality requirements.

• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.

• Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.

• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.

• Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assigned tasks.

• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

• Demonstrated steady work history, including reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous industrial manufacturing experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is an on-site manufacturing role involving the operation of CNC equipment, use of basic measuring instruments, and work within established safety, environmental, quality, and 5S requirements.
