MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator on the 2nd shift at our Mount Carroll, IL facility. You will operate CNC equipment to produce components to specification, perform quality checks, and support safe, reliable production.

This on-site role offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with pay between $16 and $19 per hour plus a $2.00/hour shift premium. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator - 2nd Shift at our Mount Carroll, Illinois manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality components to specification, perform quality checks, and support safe, reliable production.

• Location: Mount Carroll, IL
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
• Pay: $16-$19/hour
• Other Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premium
• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly
• Overtime: Overtime may be required based on business needs.

What You’ll Do as a CNC Operator

• Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
• Inspect components and ensure they meet established quality requirements.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Follow applicable safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive assigned tasks to completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.
• Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.
• Demonstrated record of reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous industrial manufacturing experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is performed on-site in a manufacturing environment and involves working with CNC production equipment. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and follow applicable safety, environmental, quality, and 5S requirements.
