Job summary

JBT Machining Inc. is seeking a CNC machinist to operate 3‑ and 5‑axis machines, manage pallet systems, and meet tight production specs in a fast-paced setting. You will document daily outputs in our ERP system and follow blueprints and inspection sheets to ensure part quality.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across projects. Safety and accurate records are essential in this team environment.

Qualifications

• Gibbs, MC, Fusion experience preferred.
• 3-axis, 5-axis and pallet systems experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Check with designated lead person on machine and job assignments.
• Produce parts on CNC machines per specs and production requirements.
• Unload and package parts per JBT Machining standards.
• Complete accurate daily records for each job in the ERP system.
• Follow Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints.
• Inform QC and supervisor of problems or concerns with parts.
• Perform inspections and maintain quality of products/services.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and report abnormal conditions.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow 5S.
• Carry out all tasks safely per PPE policies.
• Maintain required documentation and perform other duties.
