Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator for our Savanna, IL manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll operate CNC machines to produce precision components, inspect parts for quality, and make basic equipment adjustments.

Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help support reliable, high-quality production. You will read blueprints, use measuring instruments, maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to use measuring instruments to verify specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to support production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture components according to specifications.
• Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools to verify specifications.
• Perform basic equipment adjustments and troubleshooting to maintain production quality.
• Complete production records and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support production goals.
