Job summary

The Advance Group is seeking a 2nd shift CNC Operator for a steel tube and bar facility located in Holland, OH. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years CNC operating experience and be able to read blueprints, use calipers and gauges, and perform associated quality checks.

Training on 1st shift for a few weeks (Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3pm) precedes the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11pm). Overtime is available; benefits and opportunities with a growth-focused employer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC operating experience required.
• Knowledge of G and M codes required.
• Must be able to read blueprints and use gauges.
• CNC programming experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of CNC machines (Lathes, Lasers).
• Perform adjustments, repairs, and calibrations on machinery.
• Read a ruler/caliper and perform measurements.
• Inspect parts for quality and use gauges/hand tools.
• Run production lines, load/unload machines, and package parts.
• Work from blueprints and perform machine maintenance.
• Program CNC machines.
