G.S. Precision is seeking a CNC Operator for the 2nd shift in Keene, NH. You will operate machines, perform measurements, and ensure parts meet tolerances using precision tools. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and safe, clean workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• 3 months to 1 year or more of experience.
• Machining experience preferred but not required.
• Capacity to understand measurement and inspection devices.
• Able to interpret blue prints.
• Understand part placement to achieve optimum efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines assigned after set-up by area supervisor, lead person or set-up person.
• Make adjustments (e.g., changing tool offsets) as allowed to produce parts within tolerances and specs.
• Inspect parts as produced using micrometers, verniers, gauges, fixtures and other measuring equipment.
• Recognize and report need for adjustments and tool sharpening.
• Report problems or unusual circumstances to supervision immediately.
• Maintain good machine practices at all times; ensure production quality and quantity.
• Maintain accurate production cards/records and keep area/tools in neat condition.
