In this role, you will operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality components to specification, perform quality checks, and support safe, reliable production.Location: Savanna, ILWork Arrangement: On-siteSchedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PMPay: $16-$19/hourOther Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premiumEmployment Type: Full-time / HourlyOvertime: Overtime may be required based on business needs.What You'll Do as a CNC OperatorOperate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.Inspect components and ensure they meet established quality requirements.Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.Follow applicable safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Basic computer and mathematical skills.Ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive assigned tasks to completion.Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.Demonstrated record of reliable attendance and punctuality.Preferred QualificationsPrevious industrial manufacturing experience.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis role is performed on-site in a manufacturing environment and involves working with CNC production equipment.
