Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years CNC machine experience in a production environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools.
• Experience with Mazak DMG Mori or Hurco machines preferred.

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our growing team in Grand Rapids. In this role, you'll help produce high-precision machined parts that support mission-critical applications-while working with advanced CNC equipment and a team that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and safety.

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC machines including loading, unloading, and de-burring parts
• Perform machining operations using hand tools and precision gauges
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tolerances
• Perform daily cleaning, light maintenance, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate machine logs and documentation
• Monitor equipment performance, tool wear, lubrication levels, and chip removal
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Continuously improvement - making work better and faster

Required Qualifications

• Skilled at measuring key dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges
• Background in CNC production manufacturing.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
