Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings, blueprints, CAD files, and specifications.
• Select cutting tools and fixtures based on material and part.
• Program machines and prepare setup sheets and machining parameters.
• Perform quality checks to ensure specifications are met.
• Design fixtures and tooling as needed.
• Cut and shape metal to specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime.
• Train operators and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory of materials and tools.
