Job summary

ABR Employment Services is hiring a Machine Operator in Sparta, WI for a premier client. The role starts on the 1st shift (6 a.m.–2 p.m.), Monday through Friday, with overtime possible on Saturday, in a clean, well-lit environment with growth and cross-training opportunities.

Duties include operating the CNC machine center, loading/unloading, documenting data with a scanner, performing quality checks with calipers, maintaining production levels, and deburring parts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong work history.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must possess basic math and ruler reading skills.
• High attention to detail required.
• Attendance is important - must be at work every day!

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine center by milling blocks of aluminum.
• Load and unload machines correctly.
• Use scanner to document jobs and capture data accurately.
• Perform quality checks of milled products using calipers.
• Maintain production levels required for this position.

• Correctly loads and unloads machines
• Properly uses scanner to document jobs capturing accurate data with minimal scanning errors
• Performs quality checks of finished, milled product, using calipers to ensure proper dimensional requirements.
• Maintains production levels required for this position
• Buffs and de-burrs parts and plates

CNC Machine Operator Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
