Job Description:

This position is responsible for CNC operations using a crane to operate, monitor, and maintain the CNC machine to build orders for customers while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Operate an overhead crane throughout your shift
  2. Complete daily safety inspections of crane before use
  3. Organize, maintain, and keep free of clutter your work area and general CNC area
  4. Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  5. Setup, operate, monitor, and maintain CNC machine in accordance with SOPs
  6. Visually inspect CNC equipment and tooling for proper functionality
  7. Load and edit machine programs
  8. Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures for the machine
  9. Use measuring equipment and verify each part before and after machining
  10. Communicate and troubleshoot within your area and between other shop areas as needed
  11. Perform other duties as defined by Supervisor
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience and/or certification
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Ability to become certified in overhead crane operation
    • Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation
    • Basic math and computer skills
    • Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and machine programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Industrial work experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Stand on feet for long periods during shift; up to 12 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Wear all required PPE as provided by Cambria
  • Bend over multiple times per shift

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15-$24.00, determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay depends on various factors including experience and education.
