Job summary

Blount Partnership in Tennessee is seeking a CNC lathe operator to monitor and run lathe machines, load materials, and perform test operations. You will ensure parts meet specifications and maintain machine readiness in daily production.

Responsibilities include setting up tooling, adjusting speeds, inspecting parts for tolerances, and keeping equipment clean and well-maintained; schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with an hourly wage of $16.

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling, download the CNC program, and run test operations.
• Load materials into CNC lathes and shape parts.
• Adjust operating speeds based on observed vibrations or sounds indicating issues.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Clean and maintain CNC equipment and workspace.

Job description

The occupation entails monitoring and operating CNC (computer numerically controlled) lathe machines to cut metal parts. Upon the instructions being developed for a computer controller A CNC lathe operator then takes over production, running the machine and monitoring it for problems.

Monday-Friday 7am-3: 30pm

$16 per hour.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Setup tooling, download program, and perform test operations
• Load materials into CNC machines to be shaped
• Make adjustments to the operating speed based on vibrations and sounds that may indicate a malfunction
• Inspect fabricated part to make sure parts are within specifications
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment
