Job summary

Hirebridge LLC in Scranton, PA is seeking a CNC Operator I to run CNC turning machines with bar feeders to produce metal components for ammunition.

You will inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, maintain tight tolerances and drawing requirements, and perform other duties as assigned, under limited supervision.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

The CNC Operator I operates various CNC turning machines with bar feeders, to produce metal pieces used to make components of ammunition, while maintaining a high-quality and efficiency consciousness.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Must be capable of operating complex drilling, CNC turning machines with bar feeders


• Required to use precision measuring instruments for inspection of machined parts. (i.e. calipers, micrometers)


• Must be capable of maintaining tolerances and drawing requirements and adjusting CNC equipment as required


• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must possess a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in CNC turning


• Ability to measure using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices


• Strong attention to detail


• Ability to work under limited supervision


• Requires extended periods of standing, must be capable of standing for the length of shift


• Ability to reach, grab, pull, and work with hands


• Must be capable of lifting and transferring materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
