Job summary

DES MICRO PRECISION GROUP is hiring in New Jersey for a full-time CNC setup/operator with HAAS experience. The candidate will perform multiple setups, adjust tool lengths, read blueprints, and conduct first article inspections.

Experience with aluminum and stainless steel machining is valued, with Mastercam knowledge preferred. Strong geometry and math skills, reliable work ethic, and the ability to learn additional machine types such as Kiwa are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and performing setups on HAAS CNC lathe/mill.
• Preferably 1+ year in HAAS CNC setup/operator roles.
• Prior machining aluminum and stainless steel.
• Mastercam programming knowledge is a plus.
• Strong math and geometry skills; able to interpret tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Complete multiple setups with tool length offsets and adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Perform first article inspections as required.
• Learn additional machine types such as Kiwa as needed.
