Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Loading materials into the machine and removing finished parts.
• Monitoring: Watching the machine run to ensure it's functioning smoothly and detecting any malfunctions.
• Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts using precision tools to check for accuracy and quality.
• Basic Maintenance: Performing routine checks, cleaning, and sometimes basic maintenance tasks (like checking coolant levels).
• Tool and Offset Adjustment: Making minor adjustments to tool offsets (the location of the cutting tool) to maintain tight tolerances and part quality, usually under the guidance of a programmer or machinist.
