Job summary

Burca Elevator & Metal Works Inc. in Miami Gardens, FL is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC machines, read blueprints, and work with steel and other metals to meet production specs.

The role requires attention to detail, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced fabrication environment. You will load and position workpieces, select tools and machine settings, and perform basic math calculations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a steel/metals fabrication environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of measurements and dimensional calculations.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work confidently with fractions and decimals, including converting between them when necessary.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure, including fractional measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials associated with the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the fabrication and production team to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
