Job summary

Burca Elevator & Metal Works Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our fabrication team in Miami Gardens, FL. You will set up and operate CNC machines, read blueprints, and ensure accurate precision in steel fabrication.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC in steel/metals fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong measurements and dimensional calculation skills.
• Ability to use a tape measure and read fractions and decimals.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and measurements.
• Work with steel and other metal materials, understanding their basic characteristics and fabrication requirements.
• Load materials and position workpieces in CNC machines accurately.
• Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine settings.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations required for fabrication and machining.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust when necessary.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, tooling issues, or quality concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to meet schedules and quality expectations.
