Job summary

Express Employment is seeking a CNC Lathe Programmer/Setup & Operator for the 1st shift in the Parma area (Cleveland Metro). You will program, set up, and operate Fanuc-controlled lathes to produce precision parts from prints, ensuring strict quality standards.

The role requires 3–5+ years of CNC experience, strong reading of blueprints, and the ability to mentor others in a small team. Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime; tooling and PPE provided.

West Side of Cleveland | Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM-3:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
• Read blueprints and create programs directly from prints (no significant CAM programming)
• Produce precision parts while maintaining quality standards
• Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Record dimensions on inspection sheets
• Support and mentor fellow machine operators to maximize productivity

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5+ years of CNC machining experience (5+ years of programming preferred)
• Strong experience programming Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience in a short-run, high-mix manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working in a small company where teamwork and flexibility are valued
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
