Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator in Huntsville, AL to join our production team.

You will set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts per specifications, read drawings, and verify tolerance with precision instruments while contributing to a safe, quality-focused environment. The ideal candidate has a mechanical background or trade school training, can follow CNC programs, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Trade school or mechanical background preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Comfort using precision measuring instruments and applying machine shop mathematics.
• Willingness to follow CNC programs and established production procedures.
• Strong verbal communication skills for tests and interviews.

Job description

Our client, manufacturing and machining operations is seeking a CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting day-to-day machining work. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and the drive to learn and improve on the job - skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: HUNTSVILLE, AL

Pay Range: $22.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
*Must be available to train on 1st shift for first few weeks

• Set-up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to established requirements.
• Understand and work from CNC programs to ensure correct machining operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to confirm proper dimensions and tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify work and support consistent quality.
• Apply machine shop mathematics and work as a member of a TEAM while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

What's Needed?

• Trade school, a mechanical background, or experience operating CNC machines is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Comfort using precision measuring instruments and applying machine shop mathematics.
• Willingness to follow CNC programs and established production procedures.
• Strong verbal communication skills, as a verbal skills test and interview will be conducted to determine qualifications.
