Job summary

Hutchinson in the United States is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to build a career in the machining industry. A basic understanding of machining is required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, the ability to operate CNC lathes, basic blueprint reading, and familiarity with micrometers and calipers. You will work in a team environment and may cross-train on other equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Operate CNC Lathes and follow standard work procedures.
• Basic blueprint reading and understanding of measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
• Willing to cross train on other machinery (molding presses, laser marking, prototrak milling).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC Lathes as required.
• Follow established procedures and shop instructions.
• Work effectively in a RR cell or HSA team environment.
• Assist with training and skill development as needed.

• Have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate CNC Lathes
• Basic blueprint reading
• Basic understanding of measuring tools: Micrometers, calipers, micro height.
• The ability to understand basic math
• Computer and technical skills
• Must be willing to cross train on other machinery: Molding press's, laser marking, prototrak milling machine, packing, assembly and work in a team environment in RR cell or HSA
• Be able to understand and follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Have a basic understanding of shop routers/travelers or be willing to learn.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.
• US citizen or hold permanent residency status
