We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Setup Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to ensure efficient production of high‑precision components. Your expertise will help drive quality, productivity, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment and contribute to innovative manufacturing processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Set up CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, ensuring proper installation of tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer‑Aided Manufacturing) software and verify programs through simulation before production runs.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure precise machining operations.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions and quality standards.
  • Adjust machine parameters, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes, tooling setups, and overall efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed setup documentation, inspection reports, and machine logs in compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
